Almond Cinnamon Sugar Truffles, Raw Food, Gabrielle Brick

Vegan, Paleo, Raw, Healthy Holiday Treats

1 Cup Organic Plain Almond Butter

¼ Cup Organic Coconut Flour

3 TBL Organic Melted Coconut Butter

1 TBL Organic Cinnamon

1 TBL Organic Maple Syrup

½ tsp Celtic Sea Salt

Directions:

Gently melt the coconut butter via a stainless steel or glass bowl in a pan of hot water.

Once melted, mix the coconut butter and all the ingredients into a bowl and let sit in the fridge for 30 minutes, so it hardens a bit and then forms into balls. Once formed into balls, roll in coconut sugar for an extra sweet bite, add cinnamon and coconut sugar combined when rolling the formed balls for a Cinnabon flavor.

You may need to add a tsp of coconut flour to the mixture, depending on how creamy your almond butter. You want the consistency to be like a paste; once chilled, the truffles will be moist but firm.

Notes:

It's essential to use ORGANIC unsweetened and unsalted organic almond butter. Conventional almond butter, even non-GMO, is filled with glyphosate. Glyphosate is a known carcinogen that disrupts our gut & hormone health.

Keeping your almond butter unsweetened and unsalted allows you to add the best options to add a little extra flavor.

These are great healthy snacks that can keep you fueled on the run, excellent healthy party treats, and festive holiday fun!
