There are so many amazing opportunities today to get high quality veggie protein that assimilates easily into the body. This vegan protein smoothie is packed with easily digestible plant proteins and tastes great! 

When I make my smoothies I start with 3 cups of liquid which means I end up drinking a full quart mason jar. A smoothie like this is a meal replacement and offers approximately 40 grams of protein!

Plant protein is a superior protein in many ways and much more easily assimilated by the body then most animal proteins. This is the perfect recipe if you are looking to live more of a plant based lifestyle and still looking to maintain a certain level of protein intake.

  • 3 Cups Coconut Water or Spring Water
  • 4 TBL Arriba National Raw Cacao Powder
  • 4 TBL Hemp Seeds
  • 2 TBL Chia Seeds
  • 1 Scoop Sprouted Organic Brown Rice Protein
  • 1 TBL Maca Powder
  • 1 TBL Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
  • Pinch of Celtic Sea Salt
  • Omica Organics Stevia Liquid Extract – sweeten to taste

This is a perfect pre or post workout beverage!

Directions:

Add all ingredients into your Vita-Mix, Nutribullet (recipe will need to be modified to fit into large container) or high powered blender. Blend on high until smooth and creamy! Pour into a quart size mason jar and enjoy!!!
