I love when I can indulge in soul food that is actually healthy for body, mind, and spirit.
Part of the reason I am so dedicated to the path of holistic nutrition is because I truly love food and the power it has over us.
People struggle with addiction in all forms and food is a big one. I learned a long time ago that food is our friend and if we treat it with respect, honoring the power it has in its ability to provide in all aspects of nourishment, body, mind, spirit, we can live a vibrant, longevous life.
Now that I am a mother... watch out lol! There is creative outlook that is needed to discover fantastically fun, nutrient dense, great tasting food!
True health begins within... self love is at the root. Choose to love yourself and nourish all aspects. We all need some soul food at times. Feed yourself, nourish, and give your body the best food possible so that you can live the best life possible.

Chocolate Superfood Pancake Recipe:
* All ingredients are organic
1 Cup Buckwheat Flour
½ Cup Coconut Milk
3 TBL Arriba National Heirloom Cacao Powder
3 TBL Mesquite Pod Powder
2 TBL Baobab Powder
1 TBL Ground Vanilla Bean Powder
1 TBL MCT Oil
1 tsp Green Stevia Leaf Powder
¼ tsp Celtic Sea Salt
Instructions:
Place all dry ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly. Next add your MCT oil and coconut milk. Whip with a fork until fully mixed. Heat your pan with extra virgin coconut oil, using a large spoon or ladle, pour the pancake mix into the pan. This particular recipe yields 12 medium size pancakes.
What to do next:
Slather with more coconut oil for an extra buttery experience and enjoy!
